Your manuscript should be thoroughly edited and proofread before you send it to me to format.
Payment is due via PayPal, before formatting work commences.
Ebooks
- Time zones allowing, we’ll set up a web-call to discuss a schedule to complete formatting.
- Ebook formatting will be supplied in .doc and .html formats and will meet KDP/Smashwords upload requirements, depending on which option you’ve chosen.
- One round of revisions is included in the fee. Subsequent changes are available for $50.
- Links you want to be included should be checked to make sure they are correct and current.
- Please supply any changes as a list via email.
Paperbacks
- Time zones allowing, we’ll set up a web-call to discuss the a schedule, fonts and layout of your paperback. (Where do you want your page numbers? Do you want a drop on chapter headings?) I’ll also need to know which printer/distributor and print size you’ve chosen.
- If you wish us to use a licensed font, the license fee will be invoiced separately.
- Following this call, I’ll send you a draft, showing the major formatting layout. At this time, you can request changes to formatting options such as font type and size, page number positioning, etc.
- I will then complete the formatting, creating beautiful, fully justified print files. Once you receive this, I recommend you look through it, as any leftover typos are more likely to pop out once your text is formatted for print. If you spot any errors, note them down by page number and let me know.
- You will then receive your third and final draft.
- Any further changes to the text, front or back matter, are available for $50.
- Print files will be provided as pdfs, ready for you to upload to your chosen printer/distributor.
- Please supply any changes as a list via email.
- We offer a 10 percent discount for formatting both ebook and paperback at the same time.
